'Creativity' has been very complex to define because, for some specialists in the area of psychology, it is related to the gift that we all possess, however, others relate it to human and even animal intelligence.
Among the various definitions that have been credited to the word creativity, it stands out that it is responsible for fleeing from obvious, predictable and safe things because, in this way, novel results are achieved. Although creativity is generally associated with art, in reality it also has to do with economics, science, health, social relations, among others.
Personally, I believe that creativity is represented by innovation, generation or creation of new ideas and even, concentrations that we can associate them to be able to produce more consistent particularities in a certain area. Now, in order to enhance creativity, I share some tips that will be very useful in our creative process.

We are all creative
Creativity is associated with imagination and although this last term is always linked to childhood, we must make use of it to be able to expel all the creativity that is in our talents or abilities and the cause of this is because we are all creative.
Now, if there is the possibility of believing that we do not have creativity, we must start the process of promoting it and for this, it is essential to evaluate our tastes and what we enjoy doing in order to be inspired by what we are doing and allow creativity to flow. A very useful practice that we can apply to be able to exploit the creative process is, listen to music while doing the activity or, be in a calm place.
Let our imagination run wild
Keep in mind that, the imagination that accompanies us when we are children, does not really disappear what happens is that, we usually stop using it because we feel that if we continue imagining, we will look like childish adults. It is necessary to note that, she is always inside us waiting for us to use her again and one way to wake her up again is by making mind maps.
The aforementioned technique is very useful because, the brain is always responsible for associating the codes through images, sounds, keywords, drawings, symbols or colors and all these elements can be observed in a mental map. Something essential to note at this point is that, our brain acts through semantic association, that is, everything associates and when this happens, creativity comes to light by the stimulus we gave it through the codes.

Let's be innovative
We cannot stop experimenting, creating new ideas and trying other activities because, this will allow us to develop lateral thinking more broadly. Although from a young age we learn to think logically or vertically, so that creativity is not limited, we have the task of learning to think laterally because through this thinking we can address the circumstances in various aspects.
Lateral thinking is developed when giving the possibility to other circumstances because, in the unknown, we have the opportunity to innovate, perfect and even learn new techniques that we can apply in the creative activity we are doing. Do not be afraid of the unknown because, if we limit ourselves by not wanting to leave the comfort zone, our creativity will always remain at the same level.
From time to time it is valid to get bored
Sometimes being bored is not bad because, when we perform activities that are not very fun or failing that, are boring, the brain has enough time to create new 100% creative ideas for it, when we are bored and an idea arises, do not hesitate to write it down because, this can be inspiration for the moment when we are living a creative process.

Let's not stop learning
Every day we have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and this is essential for creativity therefore, let's not stop being curious and a very key point is, at no time can we lose our ability to surprise. A formula that never fails when we want to learn is, read constantly, question everything and travel.
Undoubtedly, each experience leaves us excellent learning and is a great opportunity to promote the skills we have or develop new ones. In the same way, the mistakes we make at specific times can also leave us great learnings for it, we must take advantage of them.
