As Salam u Alikum everyone. Hope you all are doing great. Today, I'm writing about my university routein what I did there and how my day was spent. So let's get started!
Practicing SPSS
Today was an exciting day as I had my first practical session on using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). As a student mastering SPSS is crucial for analyzing and interpreting data so, I was looking forward to this class.
The day began with a brief introduction to SPSS by our instructor. She explained its importance ,and how it is widely used in various research fields. We learned about the different features and functions of SPSS that would enable us to perform data manipulation, descriptive statistics and inferential analysis.
Once the theoretical concepts were covered, We moved to the computer lab, where each of us had our own computer. the instructor guided us through the steps of installing and setting it up on our computers. She also provided us with a dataset to work on.
We started by loading the dataset into SPSS and explored the variables and their properties. It was fascinating to see how SPSS could handle large datasets and organize the information in a structured manner.
Next, we moved todescriptive statistics. We learned how to compute measures like mean, median, mode, standard deviation, and variance for different variables in the dataset. The instructor showed us how to generate frequency distributions, histograms, and bar charts to visualize the data effectively.
After gaining a solid understanding of descriptive statistics, we moved on to inferential statistics. We learned about hypothesis testing, t-tests, chi-square tests, and ANOVA. The instructor explained the underlying principles of each statistical test.
Throughout the session, we had the opportunity to apply and we learned alot. It was challenging at times but with the instructors guidance and the help of our classmates, we gradually became more comfortable with using SPSS.
By the end of the session, I felt a sense of accomplishment. The practical experience with SPSS significantly enhanced my understanding of data analysis. I realized how powerful, and versatile this software is in handling complex statistical tasks.
Tea Break:
After learning and practicing SPSS, me and my friend had tea to refresh ourselves as we were exhausted and tired. Tea is very important for students and it keeps us fresh and mindful. With tea we hand some snacks like discuits and chips. We recharged ourselves and felt relaxed. Whenever I feel low or tired I always take tea as it has caffeine to recharge our body and mind.
Day End:
University day end with mirror selfie as it gives confidence and believe on oneself. It is a great way to show your confident and trust on ourself and enhance our courage that we can do anything by believing in ourself and by being confident and by doing hardwork.
Unki wafa p kavgi shak na krna .. Jo is garmi main bhi chai pety hain 🙈😍
Im also Tea Lover 💓
