Weekly Reflections #15 : Part-Time Hustles | Impossibility is not my option

Hustle on its own is doing the thing most people wouldn't like to do and you do them with the sense of joy and purpose. You might not actually love it. Unfortunately sometimes it might be illicit dealing. Sometimes people gain advantage from the situation they are in by using dishonest or even illegal ways/method.
What we are after here is a genuine and legal way of hustling.

I do participate in part time hustling in short I am a hustler myself. Where I am today is as a result of my hustle.
Though since my childhood, I had a dream course in which it's gradually coming to manifest. My dream course is to be an Animal Scientist which also cuts across all angles of agriculture.
That reminds me what my teacher use to tell us when I was in secondary school level,

He said; "if you were born poor is not your fault, but if you die poor, is your fault".

I was born and I have ever remain in the most humble works of life. Without my hustle, I strongly believe I wouldn't have gone far in life. I took a bold step because my parents see me as someone who will not become successful and they decided not to further me. So I had to leave them at my tender age and start my plan B life.

Before gaining admission into a higher institution, I was currently working as a security personnel in a private guard company. Aside from my pay cut being small, I wasn't comfortable staying in one place. It looks as if they are tying my destiny down. So atimes, I had to sneak out sometime to do some job like weeding for someone and other minor hustling. Not until I was caught one day working for someone else and immediately, I was fired.

I left there and paired with one of my friend in his house and the guy introduced me to a bricklayer and then, I started a new chapter the hard way.
Due to my passion for agriculture, I started working in the farm as well as cultivating all sorts of crops and people started admiring my work. After a year, I was lucky to go manage the farm for someone and the person employed me as manager and there I started earning a salary.
Upon that, I never relent, I also do other side hustling why still going to school.

Why I participate on part time hustle is that it really help me at least I don't have to depend on one source of income. Because at times my salary will long over due before my boss pays me.
And this wouldn't go well with me if I didn't have another source of income.
I will not forget to testify and add #Steemit as one of my side hustling.

My method is basically on shift. I told my boss that I will only be available on a weekly basis. My working day is for my school. While the weekend is for the farm I am managing. He agreed to that.
And this have been going on smoothly even though I might be stressed up sometimes.

My progress so far

I have been able to take care and support my younger siblings in school and also the most amazing thing is that I have been able to set up my own farm. Because nothing is permanent. I know for sure that one day I will leave my Boss. So I have to also plan against tomorrow.

I was being motivated by my mentor that impossibility is when you don't begin or begin not.
I started as a labourer, doing what I know best.
And here my hardwork pay. After years of yearning and am still looking for more.

Any tips for beginners.

The only tip I can give to beginners is that they should start somewhere and also do anything the come across with passion. And also one source of income is like putting all your egg 🥚 in one basket which might not go well.

First, I have to appreciate myself for the journey so far. Secondly, I am not yet satisfied with my efforts because good is not enough when better is possible. The goal is to own and manage my own business and also be an employer.

Turning my job into a full time job has always been my motivation and I believe this will come to reality as the day progresses.

I strongly believe impossibility is just an option.
Anything you find yourself doing, do it with passion knowing fully well that your hard work will one day pay.
And also don't find comfort in just one source of income because life is not a bed of rose lilly.
