Assalamualaikum to everyone in the community, community admins, moderators, and community members. I was supposed to do this post a few days ago but due to a busy schedule and some personal work of my own, I had to post it today. I am sincerely sorry for the delay and I hope you all will support me and stand by me. So today's program is starting with our North Bengal district Kurigram.

First I was looking for a good hotel to spend my night in the Kurigram district, I found the last hotel Arnab Palace, a nice hotel, and the management system is very good.

Our Kurigram is a bordering district in the northwestern part of Bangladesh. It comprises an area of 2245.04 sq km. To the north of our Kurigram district is the Cooch Behar district of West Bengal state of India, to the east of Dhubri district of Assam state India, and Tura hill district of Meghalaya state. Gaibandha district in the south, Lalmonirhat and Rangpur districts in the west. Although our Kurigram District is under the jurisdiction of the District Rangpur Division. Our Kurigram district has an international border of 278.28 km. Our Kurigram district is poverty stricken but compassionate towards each other, that is what impresses me the most about Bengali love.

Where I am standing is Shapla Chatwar or Shaheed Minar in Kurigram district. It has been built as a refuge for the freedom fighters of Bangladesh in 1971, every year on February 21st, we remember them with our souls by coming to this beautiful place. Shapla Chatwar can be called the heart of Kurigram district. From Shapla Chatwar you can go to Dhaka, and you can go to different regional areas of Kurigram district. Again from this center point, you can go to the administrative office of Kurigram district, all the offices are a short distance away, from Kurigram Jail, and the passport office regional. Then the area is perfect for going to all medical places. From here it is possible to go to any place very quickly in a short time.

Now let's talk about the Kurigram District Government Public Library. It is a maximum of 10 minutes walk from Shapla Chattar, three to four minutes by car but you have to pay 10 takas for its rent. We have a prominent poet of North Bengal, Shamsul Haque, his achievements are many, and the library has books collected at different times.
Due to lack of time, I was not able to read any book stories but the wonderful collections are here. Of course, the library is the best environment for the pursuit of knowledge, a beautiful and peaceful place.

The person whose picture is behind me is Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the great hero of the great independence of 1971, the beloved man of the nation in Bengal. His achievements cannot be overstated. Where I am standing is basically Kurigram Zilla Parishad a very beautiful place. I really wanted to stand here for a long time, sit down but I couldn't.

This is the Zilla Parishad Jame Masjid adjacent to the Zilla Parishad office. Its minaret gave a fairly high level and took away the mind. There are no tall big buildings like Dhaka city, there are 5 storey buildings at most, not more than that. It is the best part of the district earthquake but there will be no loss of people nor any loss of government assets people will have to suffer but there is a small problem which is the river breaking. Our Kurigram district is full of small and big rivers.

Next to it is Kurigram District Public Works Department, Executive Engineer's office. Traveled around our district quite a bit, and liked it a lot, as I'm from a more marginal area, this is my second visit to the heart of our district. I came once before to apply for a passport, not again, and this time to travel.

Another busy place in the Kurigram district is Doel Chattar. From here, two roads have been created to divide our upazila into Romari and other upazilas, fantastic areas.

I am now at the shop next to Kurigram College Mor. I visited kurigram district on 14th February, here you can see a beautiful tora of flowers arranged, of course, it is the right of Valentine's day to give to loved ones.
