One of the most constant alterations that our memory has is that caused by paranmesia since, during this process, a delirium tends to be confused with some memory or, failing that, memories with delusions. This means that, memory experiences false memories that immediately proceeds to interpret them as real and at the same time, it is almost impossible for it to recognize any memory that is stored in long-term memory.

In some cases it has happened that, when a person is experiencing an episode of paramnesia, presents symptoms of denial regarding what is happening because of it, does not accept that the situation he is living is unreal and creates a parallel world where delirium is reality and memories are events of the present.

When delving into paramnesia, we notice that this particularity is produced in two ways. In the first instance we see how the conspiracy of all our memories is transformed into a delirium this means that, the memory will begin to emit experiences that in real life we have not yet lived but, the brain processes them in a way that makes us feel the famous déjà vu.

Memory is one of the most important functions of the brain

It should be noted that déjà vu transmits the feeling of security and automatically we feel that we have experiences to perform some activity. In some people it has existed that this state fills them with anxiety because, the memory they have is of something disturbing. Studies in this area determine that déjà vu is the alteration of memory and 10% of the adult-young population have experienced it.

Technically it has always been said that déjà vu is a natural way to experience an emotional state, however, neurologically the opposite happens because, this type of circumstance if it is not properly controlled when it happens, it can keep us in an unreal state of life and, this situation generates psychological disturbance.

As for the second way that paramnesia generates, we can emphasize that it occurs through delusional; that is, a false identification is created and this event is dangerous because, the person can suffer from Capgras syndrome, reduplicative paramnesia or, Frégoli syndrome.

Neurologists consider déjà vu to be a neurological disorder

Emphasizing Capgras syndrome we emphasize that, this occurs when people do not have the power to identify one person over another despite knowing them and this happens because, their memory applied the technique of replacement through memory. Regarding the Frégoli syndrome we mention that, the person has multiple personality and as for the reduplicative paramnesia, this develops when the person believes that the place where he is, is duplicated and is seeing it at the same time.

Finally, the origin of paramnesia remains a mystery to scientists today because they still can't understand how the brain and memory produce those effects in people. Similarly, it is unknown why some quickly disconnect from that unreal context however, others remain in limbo and have difficulty getting out of it.

What if there are certain suspicions or slight evidence is regarding what happened with déjà vu however, this state is also considered care because it has processes that can generate certain damages in the psychological stability of someone. In view of how complicated paramnesia is, they have not found the right treatment to treat these alterations.

Thank you for a very informative post! It will be great if you tell us in your post how you got to know so much about the human brain. For example if you’ve studied, where and what.
