Dear diary, it's been a minute here. Not because I couldn't write, but I haven't been able to muster the strength to.

It's an incontestable fact that Sunday is my best day of the week. This is because I get to meet my brother's and sisters in the faith and we get to spend awesome moments in fellowship with the word and each other.

My friend talked me Into exercising on Saturday morning. It's been months since I last exercised and As expected, my muscles were very stiff and the pain hit almost immediately.
I was wimping and moon walking all through Saturday. I even had to endure the pain for a meeting I had later on In the day. By the time I came back home, I was ready to call the firing squad on my friend as every area of my body was in pains. Imagine how waking up Sunday morning was. I woke up 3 times and tried getting up but I couldn't. I finally bid my legs to move as dawn was getting closer.

I had planned to walk some distance before getting a bus as my transport wasn't really enough, but as God would have it, I saw a bus right at the bus stop.
The reason I left my house by the time I did was so I could take my precious time walking to church due to the pain I was feeling. I didn't want to be hurried.

I arrived church and service was powerful. The worship was spirit lifting and when it got to the praise session, I danced with careless abandon to the amazement of those who knew I was having serious pains.
I would later reap the consequences of this as going home after service was no mean feat😭😂😂.

My pastor said something while preaching that hit deep into me in service and it was that

No matter what we lose in life, we should find a way to pay attention to what is remaining.

This struck a deep chord with me as I had been having a couple issues with some things and at this point, I was ready to call it quits. He said that sometimes we lose things In life - Family, friends, opportunities and lots more. The pain of loosing seems so overwhelming that when we focus solely on it, we lose sight of what is left.
He said that if we have even there littlest thing remaining, the recovery is possible for us.
What a service that was. After the service, we had meetings and greetings. Over the weekend ,I had loosened my braids, washed my hair and was ready to make it. I had also contacted a sister of mine and asked if she could braid my hair after service. So once the greetings we're over, we sat down to business.

Braiding my hair

I don't like spending time making my hair, so any hair that more than 30 minutes to make, isn't for me. Anyways the hair came out beautifully done with different styles on each side, though it took more time than I expected😁

Different styles on each side

I took a few picture poses with my church family and then began the laborious journey home.

I got home so tired and exhausted and as I shut my eyes, the world went dark.
