Everyone wants to stand out in all they do, but do you wonder how it could be possible? Quality contents does not just happen, it takes so much to make it happen. Do you wish to learn from my blog? read further!
A post is said to be quality when it identifies the audience interests. It has to have all it takes to draw the reader's attention.
First, a quality post should have an interesting topic, which is the target key word to capture the reader. If a topic is way too boring, the reader feels reluctant to even read the first paragraph of the content. Having an interesting topic means you have the readers at heart.
Secondly, for a post to be tagged with quality, its thumbnails should be something attractive, exceptional, and unique. It should be something related to the topic so that the audience can blend in well.
Thirdly, the introduction of a quality post should be a smart introduction. It should give the reader an idea of what they should expect further.
Furthermore, writing in plain language is the best so that even a layman can understand the content. Avoid fluffy languages; write in a simple English pattern since everyone can understand English clearly.
Steemit has given us the platform to create contents in various languages since we could easily translate and read, but what if there was no space for translators? I think simple English should be the option.
Relevance and creativity are quite important in creating a post because they make you stand out. You know one thing about doing the same thing others do: you continue to get the same results as others.
Imagine being creative in your writing, designs, patterns of writing, etc... this won't only attract readers to your blog but will also invite great minds and followers to your blog.
In writing a post, a story does not need to be told in the introduction or first paragraph. State the importance of your content and let the reader connect freely, if you have a story relating to that, it should come in the middle or ending part. This allows the reader to enjoy themselves and flow freely while reading.
For a post to be termed quality, it has nothing to do with the number of words you have written down; rather, it has everything to do with the sense you are making in the post. A piece of content could have over 1000 words and end up being quantity and not quality, but the one with just 250 words is the bomb!
Eye-catching videos or images should be your priority. It should be one of the first grades for quality content. Attractive images draw readers more to find out what a particular piece of content says; this happens to me a lot.
Creating original content cannot be forgotten. For a post to be termed quality, originality should also be found. I don't believe anyone should copy and paste contents just to attract people. Now, what if the contents you copied have been read by someone else's blog?
Steemit prohibits plagiarism, so anyone found doing it would be penalized. Originality makes a content creator stand out.
Visual elements like photographs or diagrams help the reader enjoy the content. When I go through content and it has no image attached to it, I get bored automatically, so basically, visual elements should be in place to enhance the reader's engagement.
We also have illustrations that could also help the reader. Sometimes in most of our contents, we have one story or two to tell. I think these stories are relevant to the reader because it helps them stay longer to read till the end.
In conclusion, creating quality content is essential for blogs. Having to capture your reader's mind would always lead to referrals. People like original things. They always want to see different things every day, so this is where creativity comes in. Being original automatically puts your blog in good shape, and it would also promote your blog immensely.
