I feel delighted to show once again after several days I skipped writing. Although I have longed to write,but I was bordered with something until my very good motivator @okere-blessing encouraged me to write. Many thanks to lovely friends like her. In today's episode we will look at: ~How to set and achieve an appropriate wedding date. ~The right celebration time of the wedding day. ~Court wedding versus religious wedding.

How to set and achieve an appropriate wedding date.

Setting an appropriate wedding date is not always simple.
Wedding dates should be fixed 6 months before time.This is to reach out to all interested parties to the wedding.
Some people choose a wedding date during a long vacation period as to accommodate students,or choose a date that will accommodate key persons to the occasion according to celebrants' preference.
However, in my own case I choose 1st week of the month of November,to accommodate salary earners and business men and women.
During this period of 6 months,It is expected that every requirements should be met ,such as civil and church registry procedures, honey moon date planned alongside,so that immediately after the wedding,the celebrants' take off for enjoyment.
The celebrant is also expected to use this period of 6 months to secure the venue of the wedding and ensure its security,shed against weather unfavorable conditions,also, invitations extended to invitees on time etc.

The right celebration time of the wedding day.

Wedding should be conducted in a broad day light,as it is not traditional or night club meeting,and many will be invited far and near, so the time should be in the morning hours and ends in the late afternoon time unless the predominant culture of the people in the area reveals otherwise.

Night wedding might expose the couples to danger of theft or attack on their resources.
It also risks the safety of the invitees to their various destinations unless some are living nearby while others accepted to lodge in hotels as to continue their journeys the next day.

Court wedding versus religious wedding

Court wedding enables couples receive certificate that certify legal conditions as performed in the courtroom or registry while religious wedding enables couples to receive certificate that certify religious requirements as performed in church by the priest,pastor or Imam. Although some churches are licenced to issue marriage certificate that cover both requirements.
The court marriage is also called civil marriage while the religious marriage is known as church marriage and both can be held on the same day with proper planning or arrangement.
The most important thing desired in the marriage is genuine love,without such,the efforts of the couples will be regarded as waste of time,energy and money.

Therefore,the wedding date needs to be planned ahead of time,to achieve a successful civil and religious expectations.
