To harvest the cassava tubers in bunches, cut cassava stalks about 12 inches long, remove the buds, loosen the soil to an average depth of two feet, pile them up to a height of about one foot, and plant two pieces of wood on both sides of one hole. (Any way you plant, the important thing to do is the process of cutting and removing the buds. From each place where the buds are cut, tubers will grow in clusters and more tubers can be obtained).
