Hello, Steemians. With this post, I am going to participate in the contest Benefits of Reading Books run by beloved @shiftitamanna Apu. I am a bit late and I am sorry for that. However, here I am with my entry.
Do you think reading books can enrich our knowledge? |
---|
The Book is the source of knowledge. There is no better source of knowledge than the book. All of the major religions in the world have a main manuscript. It’s proof that the Book is the source of knowledge and we all know that knowledge is the power.
Books surely enrich our knowledge. In ancient history, most of the established Empire built a Library for prosperity. And they were successful on this occasion. From Athens to Alexandria to Baghdad to our very own Bogra, all of them had sources of books, and their prosperity is well-known.
So, if the question is, reading books can enrich our knowledge? here is the proof. I am telling facts, not bedtime stories.
Tell us about the importance of reading books to improve writing skills. |

Reading is always helpful for writing. The more you read, the more you can read frequently. When you read, you know how to provide information in front of readers. How readers like it, how they accept the thing written in the book. It helps you to choose the perfect word to describe yourself, I mean what you want to write.
You will gain limitless knowledge from books. And there will be a time when you can share them with others in writing. Let's show you an example. There is a task in Graduate level education called Presentation where students have to show something to the audience. To make a perfect 5 minutes presentation, they had to read for a week, sometimes more than that. After reading a lot, collecting tons of data, and assembling them perfectly, they give their presentation. What if they didn't read? They can't make a speech, and there will be no presentation. The more they read, the more euphonious speech they can produce, and the more the audience will like it.
At this point, yes, treading is not only helpful for writing but also essential.
Do you have the habit of reading books? What kind of book do you prefer to read? |
