Contest; My charity with one steem by @shance-light

Hello fellow steemians and members of the steem family. As days go by, i keeps learning new about this platform.
Thanks to @sofian88 for organising this contest, this has made me realize that no charity is too small and thanks to steem for better life community where they are changing lives through charity.

The price for steem fluctuates in my country from 250frs to 575frs. But nonetheless what i have understood from this contest is that no charity is to small and nothing us too love especially when the giver gives with love and to a needy reciever.
I will write some past experiences that i made little donations without others noticing which is within the range of 1 steem.

Being a nurse, i usually meet patients who are very sick and some may not even have money to buy acetaminophen (100frs) and if i can't cater for more medications, i will at least provide this one.

Recently there was a scenario where as a nurse i had to advocate for my patient because he didn't had money.

This patient was brought to the hospital and he hadn't money, with a temperature of 40°c, i had to administer him some emergency medicine worth 1500frs (3 steem).
Luckily a community had a charity program ongoing, i advocated for him, and he was aided

He got better and was later on discharged.

Another scenario is of a sick child, where her mother traveled and she fell sick, the neighbor that brought her didn't have enough money, thus i had to give medication to relief the child.

Since am in a rural community, most mothers dont understand the benefits of vaccination and at times cant afford the basic requirements. Thus we call them at get the requirements and give them for free.

The list is endless because everyday at the clinic, we keep receiving different kinds of Patients. I thank God for providing thats y am happy with steem for better life for continually promoting charity.

Charity must not be money that you give, someone around you may need food, clothing, shelter, love or comfort. We are never too empty to give nor to poor to give. Giving is a mindset that can be cultivated and we all can cultivate it.

A random act of kindness can change the world, be kind to everyone you see.
