I like both reading books and watching movies. But I usually prefer to watch movies due to lack of time. Reading a book is far more delicate to finish than watching a movie. And most of the time I preferred to see animation, psychological thrillers, and Mystery movies.

My favorite movie is all time masterpiece named “Inception”. This movie was directed by Christopher Nolan who directed many of today’s masterpieces like Interstellar, The Prestige, Memento, etc. I like thriller or psychological thriller movies, so most of my childhood has passed me watching movies in those categories.

Inception was released in 2010 and when it was released it shook the fanbase to their core. This movie’s plot consists of a thief named “Cobb” who has the technology to enter people’s dreams and steal vital information related to their respective corporations. He uses the opportunity to extract information when the mind is at its most vulnerable which made him a wanted man all over the world and cost him everything he has ever loved. Cobb and his team have been tasked not to extract but to plant an idea in an individual’s mind. The story revolves around how he pulls off this impossible task. The movie portrays the difficulties faced by Cobb when he is haunted by his past and how he overcomes the difficulty. One of the biggest twists occurs when the plot reveals the most shocking thing when the lines get blurred between reality and the dream world.

How does this quote inspire/motivate/connect with you?

One of the best moments in this movie was when it was quoted “Downward is the only way forward”. It suggests that in life in order to achieve success one must fall to rise again. Sometimes in life even after taking all the preparations, one might fall and if some stay in that state they can’t shine. Accepting the temporary defeat and rising again with more enthusiasm is crucial. So when failure comes one must be ready to use the resources around them and their wit in order to overcome it and move on taking valuable lessons from it which might prevent it from happening further.
