Hello STEEM FOR BETTERLIFE Friends,
Today, I will develop my participation on the impact of technology on our children, because as positive things happen, it also creates a very difficult problem. Without further ado, let me begin with my contribution.

Although sometimes it is difficult for us to recognize it, the human being has a worrying and very dangerous addiction towards the cell phone, tablet or a computer and, without giving us cost this situation little by little has been modifying, and even destroying our social relationships and development of daily life.
According to specialists, this technological addiction has caused the human being to begin to suffer from physical and mental diseases. This situation is so compromising that, of it, there is already a classification in the category of disorders; this is called 'Nomophobia'.
Now, as a general culture, I share that nomophobia is the fear that a person feels when he can not make use of his technological device and, worldwide, there are more than 65% of people who suffer from this disorder. As we can see, the excessive use we make of this technology easily has a very negative impact on our lives and, as it develops in the long term, over time it worsens.
When we keep our eyes on the screen of a smart device for a long time, we also affect our vision because, the light emanating from these equipment, wears down the view. In the same way, spending a lot of time sitting or in a fixed posture, affects the spine, promotes obesity disease and makes us sedentary people.
Children are very observant and, since they realize that adults are always using a technological device, they also want to do it and, thanks to that, our little ones already experience addiction to technology for that reason, today we see children normally centralizing their fun in these technological equipment and, not socializing with people who are actually in their everyday context.
Technology has even penetrated the educational system because, today we see children doing their homework on a tablet or cell phone and not in their notebooks, as was done in the past. Both children and adults currently prefer to listen to music, play games and watch videos from the cell phone and, doing this activity daily, automatically makes it an addiction.
At the moment of analyzing all this, we will immediately realize that, the human being began to experience a monotonous life between everyday life and technological advances; in this exploration, the child was also included and because of all this, socialization with the context that is around him, was greatly reduced because, both adults and children prefer to socialize from their intelligent equipment.
Children develop intellectual skills and knowledge thanks to the practical activities that can be found in the world of technology. According to experts, since children have access to the technological era, it is observed that they are more self-taught and select their learnings under the tastes they have. This means that they have the power to meet their needs through technological education.
Due to the frequent contact that children are having with the technological world, there is a possibility that this connection will guide them to know that they want to be professionals in the technology sector. Either by creating teams, fixing them or, performing a profession through these devices.
In the context of technology, there is no room for teaching to be monotonous because, on the Internet there is a wide variety of knowledge therefore, children can select the method they want to apply to learn and in this way, education will be very fun for them.
When a child has dependence or addiction to technology, in the medium or long term they will suffer the negative impacts that this situation will generate since, this excessive delivery by technology is destroying all their social relationships with the people who make life in their environment because, they do not want to socialize with people who are not in a chat. In the same way, the critical thinking of the little ones has been diminishing since, in the world of technology everything is mechanized.
Children become restless when they spend a lot of time without accessing technological devices and in the midst of this restlessness, episodes of anger, anxiety and crying have developed. States that are calm when they finally regain access to their cell phone, tablet or computer.
Statistically it has been proven that, most of the time that children spend on these electronic devices, goes in games and, this is very negative because, children represent the future of the nation for that reason, if they use their time in recreational activities that do not expand their knowledge, they will hardly want to prepare in an academic field to become a professional.
We are living in a very complicated time in various aspects of life so we should not take our children on a dangerous path. Justifying that technology is mandatory for them to have a quality education or entertainment, is a mistake since, this conscious push can generate that children end up immersed in a technological addiction that they will hardly want and be able to overcome.
The family figure has a very important role in this aspect since, if they do not regulate and at the same time, supervise what children are doing on the Internet and how much time they dedicate to it, the situation can easily get out of control since, in the virtual world there are many dangers and, because of their innocence, they will not know how to detect.
Currently we see with a worrying normality that, children from 4 years and older have cell phones or tablets and, parents say that they give them these devices because it is the only way to get them to be calm. Thanks to this action, with the passage of time the little ones do not want to get rid of these equipment and in case their parents confiscate them, the scene of crying, rebellion and annoyance on the part of the child develops.
As we can see, in view of the technological addiction that begins on the part of parents, children also have this problem because, as I said at the beginning, a child observes the attitude and behavior of their parents, if they see that the adult frequently uses a technological device, they will also want to do it since, by nature they are faithful imitators.
It is essential to talk to them about nomophobia and the physical diseases that develop when a technological device is used for a long time. It should be noted that, among the symptoms generated by a physical disease is: headache, uncontrolled blood pressure, bone pain and imbalance in the nervous system.
It is advisable that children when they are eating, do not have a technological equipment near or in their hands and, at the time of sleeping, they do not have to do it having their cell phone under the pillow. The cartoons or the various games that are in the application store, greatly influence the behavior of the child because, if they are aggressive, they will be violent children and if they have certain cognitive problems, they will disturb the mental development of a child.
For this reason, the less time they devote to technological devices and the digital world, the more healthy their development will be healthy. It is essential to emphasize that, the excessive use of these equipment, causes children to be withdrawn due to the lack of activity or hyperactivity during the day. To avoid this, it would be ideal for them to participate in activities of singing, dancing, painting, crafts or, some traditional game that they can carry out with the rest of their friends, brothers or cousins.
Parents can also create dynamic activities before bedtime; this can be to read them a story or, when the sunset is coming, to carry out a gardening activity since, the contact with nature allows to develop excellent skills and at the same time, they will be taught to take care of our planet earth.
Finally, when adults are with children, the ideal would be to avoid using the cell phone, tablet or computer. A conversation between child and adult can be very fun so doing this practice is very positive. In the same way, going out with the children to a park, square or some place of entertainment, allows to create endearing bonds with the little ones and in this way, they will receive quality time that will fill them with a lot of happiness.
