Kita asik saja menggunakan browser ini hingga bisa melupakan waktu. Browser mempunyai banyak jenisnya seperti Opera, Chrome, Mozilla firefox dan lainnya. Saya sering menggunakan Chrome dan Mozilla Firefox.

That can be unless all extensions and apps only work with chrome and people are forced to use it because there's no other option and if it comes to chrome it doesn't run on older devices and with a slower internet connection which means everyone is force to buy a new device (like the government does with us).

I basically use only Chrome. I have two other browsers installed, but I barely use them. The reason to why Chrome is not only because it's single entity as a browser, but more because it is part of a package they call "Google Workspace". One account (email) and you get it all: the possibility of real time online collaboration on sheets and presentation and word documents, a 15 GB free cloud storage (you can buy more if you need more). I mean, it's easier to use and offers lots of utilities. And when you got cut out of internet, you can play Dino. What else do you want? 😂😂😂

Now I am curious that if chrome works perfectly, do you use Opera once in a while? Is it because it's runs easier on old devices or because Billy won't track and trace you everywhere?
With me it is hard to run. My phone is old, slow and has a lack of memory and the internet is also not the best so I prfere a light version instead of all the dirt and traces of a all those apps.If it comes, tho it's annoying. Google is the worst and Samsung is the second. After this one I will never take Samsung again. A google free phone wold be great but they are expensive with us and most are secondhand.

I always use Chrome, I haven't had any problems and I've gotten used to this browser, there is NO specific reason to use it, I know there are more browsers, even Brave offers more security, rewards, restricts ads, I think the important thing is security, I always work in an incognito window , I try to clean the computer at least 3 times a month, it's a way to keep myself safe so to speak, which I DON'T believe, but I do it, security is very important and quite difficult to achieve, but I try.

The best advice I have ever heard in this platform. It's not only a matter of browser, the searcher have more influence in the access of junk in your device o computer. Avoid completely google as a searcher, instead you may use DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, bing, Thor, Presearch and others.
Related with the browser, I like Opera with Brave as second option. The first is the faster if you use a Mac computer.

I wonder why so many people are advising against Chrome when it comes to safety. I still do not see anyone talking purely about security features. But, I do get why this is.
In terms of search engines, I would endorse the first two. The rest, I am not sure about. But, I think Bing is Microsoft search engine. Isn't it?

Well, I think you have got a point there. You're right, it feels like a mandatory thing at times.
There is still quite good number of people saying that it is more secure compared to the alternatives. So, when it comes to only security that could be an advantage. But, I have not seen it tested.

I use a browser according to the operating system:
Windows: I use Edge. It's well-optimized for Windows, and I don’t know why more people don’t use it performs really well.
Linux: I use Firefox since it’s well-optimized for Linux.

Why not more people use Edge? For example, because many are phone users or have ancient computers? Does that make sense?
I just asked my son and he says he removed Edge because Windows 10 has enough spyware.
Same for the eldest. It's Firefox, which doesn't want all the trash on the computer and also doesn't use a phone for online banking and so on. Its mainly used to receive phone calls in case of need or to text.
So you don't use chrome because? You did develop your extension for Chrome users. If don't believe you will find the most modern computers among the average Steemians.

Personally, I would go for anyone of them. I guess they are all doing the same job. There is no difference. I can tell you about other people. Because, I am seeing that some people are preferring one over the other. Some people prefer Chrome. Because, it is linked with their Google account. Other people prefer Brave. It's not all the same. It depends on the browser what you see if you search (and the country). Next to that there are extensions not operating with certain browsers and not every browser checks on you and has the same options if it comes to security of for example showing the stored passwords!

But, I can say this about stored passwords. It is a feature that many browsers have. From security perspective, it is not a good idea to store the passwords in a web browser. However, if someone was able to hack the browser, it should be possible for him to see the passwords hashed, not in plain text. I am talking in general here. But, I think Chrome does that.

A minus is also that if you never type a password (I will those for Steemit left out) you easily forget what it was. I wonder how many passwords the average person has after 20-40 years on the internet. Will it all be 1234567 or abcdefg? If for everything an different password you need a fat bok to find them back.

The average person? I guess that depends on each individual's own community. But, there is a gesture in general of making the re-using the same password everywhere. While, it is not that hard to create something different for each website. But, it is still a common practice.
There are people who can create their own pattern and have a different password for each website and there are others who find it difficult to do so. They can just use a password manager instead of their browser extension.

I have installed the chrome browser, it is the one I always use. I do not estimate much of these applications but every time someone fixes my CPU I see that this is the browser that I put.
