The Diary Game: 27/02/25 // Learnt about Romance Verses Money in Marriage in a training

Today I woke up by 5 am with a running stomach. Things became a big worse when I the water stopped running because there was no light. We either have to wait till the light comes up again or go outside ahd fetch water.

I had to wait for a few minutes before I left for my daily activities. Used the opportunity to do my page management job of engaging with my client's page on LinkedIn.

To-do for today

Went to the digital skill center.
By 8:12 am, I was at the training center but they haven't opened by then so we had to wait outside. Since it's the second time I would be coming, and was yet to know how the activities are run.

I opened a conversation with one of the students, he sent a link to join the training group chat.

He also sent me the list of the courses and timetable for each training and when I had to come in for my own classes.

The company hosting this programme is LearnFactory and TechRise with the sponsorship of the Abia State government.

The Courses and skills they are training people on are:

• Product Design
• Data Engineering
• Fullstack Dev with Python and Django
• Fullstack Dev with JavaScript
• AI Prompt and Engineering
• Digital Arts and Animation
• Mobile App development.

I registered for the AI Prompt Engineering, because as a Social Media Manager and Virtual Assistant, knowing how to use the AI tools is important.

The facilitator later announced to us that the course I choose won't be have class for today but to come back tomorrow.

Went to see my sister and was held up by the rain.

My elder sister got a job as the Floor Manager for a restaurant in the Eastern Part of Nigeria. Before assuming the position, all the candidates have been called for a 2 months training to get them ready for the role. Luckily for me, it was in my city Aba, it provided the opportunity for me to see her as often as possible before they round up the trainings.

Immediately I wanted to leave, it started raining heavily. I had no option than to remain the restaurant and wait. While waiting, I took that chance to work on a design I had started last week but couldn't finish them so I moved the task to today. I was able to design this while in the class, and rounded up the designs I had already started.

• I attended an online training hosted Dr Sarah Amana, the founder of Rich Aunty Finance Community.

The guest speaker was Aderonke Adedayo Omole, ACIHRM, who has a her career in finance, excelling in treasury management and payroll administration before transitioning into Human Resources.

Romance Verses Money in Marriage

She made a valid point about things that can kill your marriage. I couldn't help but take note of.

• Money
  Money can kill your marriage if you make it a god in your marriage. You must come to the point where where money serves your marriage not you serving money and destroying all you've built in the long run.

Romance is the live wire of marriage, if you don't feed it, eventually it'll lose its taste.

• Lack of contentment. The grass is not greener on the other side but on the watered side. Be content with what you have and work towards getting more. Cut your cloth according to your material

Negligence in taking care of ourselves. Queen she was talking to you and I, you and wrapper is 5 and 6. Reduce the rate you tie wrappers at home. Men should also take care of themselves and come out wearing sexy boxers not towel.

• Continue to KNOW your spouse
  People change in the course of marriage. Learn to communicate your needs to your partner.

Dear single sister, DON'T MARRY IDEA, MARRY ACTION.

We need to continue to grow until we attract the kind of money and marriage you want.

I was happy the ladies came out to learn something that will be useful to us. I had a wonderful time on Thursday.
