This is @rumanaafroz, from Bangladesh.

Dear @ngoenyi ,
I am sure everyone is safe and well by the grace of Allah.
Alhamdulillah I am also very well.

Today I am going to share a pitha recipe with you. Some people call it Pakoyan pitha or Tel pitha. This pitha is very easy to make. However, if you make a little mistake, the pitha will not rise anymore. The inside of the pitha will get lumpy.
It took me about 45 minutes to make this pitha. My family members love to eat this pitha so I have to make a little more. Due to which it takes a little time.

I am going to share with you the recipe for making Pakoyan pitha, a popular pitha in our country. I hope you like it.
The things I need to make this pitha are,

🔮Atap rice powder
🔮Date molasses
🔮Amount of oil
🔮Salt
🔮Amount of water

🧬Step 1

In the first step, I took a certain amount of Atap rice powder. This pitha can also be made with flour, but its taste is a little different. It is not very fun to eat. But this pitha tastes great with Atap rice powder. I especially love eating this pitha.

🧬Step 2

Then I took a little more water and heated it a little more than lukewarm. Because I cannot swell this cooked pitha without giving hot water. It will somehow get stuck. That is why I first heat the water a little.

🧬Step 3

Then add the amount of date molasses in the oven and cook for 2 minutes. If the molasses does not rise, the pitha will not rise, which is why I started waiting until the molasses comes.

🧬Step 4

This time, after the molasses comes, I stir in the amount of Atap rice powder and turn off the oven. Here, I have taken the Atap rice powder as I guessed. After adding water, I will understand how the batter will be exactly, then the powder can be reduced.

🧬Step 5

In this step, I will make a proper batter by mixing jaggery and rice flour with a little warm water. The batter will not be too thick and not too thin, it will be medium. I will make the batter and mix it with a spoon for about four to five minutes.

🧬Step 6

In this step, I will pour a little oil in a pan and let it heat. Meanwhile, I will keep the batter foaming.

🧬Step 7

Once the batter is foamed, I will make a fluffy fluffy pakoda pitha by adding a little oil to the hot oil.

Hola, amiga. Te cuento que vi tu foto con el plato y lo primero que pensé fue "quiero probar eso". En mi país consigo harina de arroz y dátiles, pero la melaza de dátil no creo, igual me encantaría intentar tu receta. Gracias por compartirla.
