Nah, I never stayed in rural or outback Australia. We call them Bogans in Australia, but they’re not the same as the ‘rednecks’ in America. Most of them are not racist and quite fun to talk to. They know a lot of sh1ts that we don’t.
Unfortunately for the traffic jam, there seems to be mutual agreement between Malaysia and Singapore so Singapore-plate cars are not limited in Malaysia. But lack of planning is also a major cause of daily traffic jam.
Tioman Island is just an island for relax and chill, nothing much to say about it. Penang used to be quite nice, but has ‘deteriorated’ into a poorer version of Singapore in recent years.
