Are you like bamboo?
Divine creation is an incomparable source of teaching. Today, I'm going to talk to you about Japanese bamboo.
This plant can reach up to 40 meters in height.
It's awesome, right?
However, during the first six years of the bamboo's life, nothing comes out of the ground. During that time, his roots develop in secret. In the seventh year, a small sprout finally appears on the ground, and, from this moment, its growth is spectacular, being able to grow 1 meter a day.
What does this have to do with you, my dear friend? The Word says: "Because you need patience, so that having done the will of God, you may obtain the promise" (Hebrews 10:36).
The secret is perseverance. You may think that you are stuck seeing that you are not growing as you would like, but do not stop! Although your growth may not be visible, it is real, your "roots" are growing. Your relationship with God and your trust in Him grow day by day.
My dear friend, even if you see that nothing comes out of the earth, rest assured that God sees your effort, your perseverance and your work behind the scenes of your existence. Through faith and perseverance, you will enter the inheritance He has promised you.
Now I invite you to pray with me:
“Lord, You are the one who forms me and the one who prepares me with patience and love. Although I do not yet see the fruit of what I have sown, I believe that one day will come. I know that you hold me and that one day I will see the inheritance you have for me. In the name of Jesus. Amen".
Hebrews 10:36
36 since you have the need for patience, so that after fulfilling the will of God you will obtain what was promised.
