Hello everyone friends of Steem World Photography today I want to share with you one of my favourite pieces in my house, an antique window that is over a hundred years old, yes that's right over a hundred years old.

I live in a city declared World Heritage of Humanity where the houses are colonial style, the house where I live was built by my father-in-law and is inspired by those old colonial houses with large windows, mud walls, caico floors, tiles and a myriad of details that give you the feeling that time stood still within its walls.

In every room of the house there is an antique detail, which my father-in-law collected. Today I want to show you my favourite window, it belonged to one of the houses dating back to the colonial period and that due to the passage of time collapsed, from which some tiles, floor tiles and especially this beautiful green window were rescued. At the time of the construction of this house my father-in-law bought it at an auction and today it adorns our home as if it had always been here.

This beautiful piece of culture and tradition has moulded very well into the house where it has been for years, becoming part of the landscape, the nature and the decor. It is my favourite place to sit down to read and relax, because near it you can feel peace and harmony.
