These ancient beasts roamed the prairies of what is now the United States way before man ever walked this country. They are tough, and beautiful in one package. Better use a zoom lens because you don't want to get too close. They are wild and they sometimes seem docile, but they are wild beasts. They will paw the ground, stir up the dust and charge if you invade their space. This is my photo and a sketch of the same photo.
