Hello everyone. Good day to all amazing people here in this platform. Hope all of you guys are in good health and filled with happiness in your hearts. It's me @sweetnaomi05 and for today's blog, allow me to share my Chicken Adobo with Pineapple tidbits recipe . This is my entry in "Weekly cooking contest #3" initiated by @sabbirrr

"Chicken Adobo with Pineapple tidbits" is a Filipino dish. The main ingredients is chicken with a sauce usually made of vinegar, soy sauce, garlic and onion. To put a slightly sweet taste of my chicken adobo I will add Pineapple tidbits on it.

So let's begin...

HERE ARE THE INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 kilo chicken
  • 1 pack Pineapple tidbits
  • 1 medium size onion
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1 green chili pepper
  • 1 teaspoon magic sarap
  • 4 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon cooking oil

HERE ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO COOK



  • Prepare and wash the chicken with water and put it in a bowl. Slice the onion, garlic and the green chili pepper.

  • Put the 1/4 soy sauce on the chicken.

  • Add the 4 tablespoon vinegar.

  • Add the minced garlic.

  • Add the sliced onion. Mix together then marinate with in 10 minutes.

  • Get a cooking pot. Put in a medium heat and put 2 tablespoon cooking oil.

  • When the cooking oil is already hot. Put and fry the chicken in the cooking pot except the sauce, sliced garlic and onion.

  • Set aside the sauce with sliced garlic and onion.

  • Cover the cooking pot and let the chicken boil it's liquid and drain. Cook until it turn brown.


  • When the chicken is cooked. Add the sauce, slice garlic and onion. Then mix well.

  • Add the sliced green chili pepper.

  • Then add 1/2 teaspoon magic sarap. And mix.

  • Add Pineapple tidbits. Then mix.

  • Lastly, cover the cooking pot for a 1 minute and mix it well.
