Rendang Aceh is meat cooked with Acehnese spices. The cooking process is very long, which is 4 until 5 hours so that the meat is tender and delicious.

The spices contained in this dish consist of Aceh spices, such as cloves, shallots, garlic, ginger, turmeric, coconut milk, cinnamon, white pepper and so on.

For the Acehnese, the tradition of cooking and eating meat is usually before Eid fitri and Eid Adha, this tradition is known as makmeugang . And this meat dish is suitable to be eaten with rice, rice cake, ketupat and other coconut milk. Hope you enjoyed my story, and try to make it !!
