Sunflowers
Las lluvias comenzaron, y con ellas el jardín se viste de colores. Hay flores por doquier.
Las Sunflowers se han apoderado del jardín, asoman su belleza en cualquier lugar sin timidez, aunque se parezca a su vecina, sabe que posee una particular hermosura que resalta y transforma el lugar que escogió para mostrarse.
Unas crecen entre la sombra, otras al pie de los árboles. Y algunas más atrevidas decidieron crecer entre los ladrillos de la vereda.
The rains began, and with them the garden is dressed in colors. There are flowers everywhere.
Sunflowers have taken over the garden, they show their beauty everywhere without shyness, even if they look like their neighbor, they know they have a particular beauty that highlights and transforms the place they have chosen to show themselves.
Some grow in the shade, others at the foot of the trees. And some more daring ones decided to grow between the bricks of the sidewalk.
Su pétalos están tan bien definidos y ricamente pintadas de un amarillo incandescente. Desean que las miren, que las aprecien.
Ellas son presumidas, orgullosas. Marcan su territorio. No es posible confundirlas, porque se alzan solitarias entre sus hojas de verde primavera.
Their petals are so well defined and richly painted an incandescent yellow. They want to be looked at, to be appreciated.
They are presumptuous, proud. They mark their territory. It is not possible to confuse them, because they stand alone among their green spring leaves.
