Tom Hanks

Came to the world of cinema with a mission. He has chosen one movie after another in such a way that he has to play a completely unique character in each movie. He made the most of his acting skills and won two Oscars for his performance. You have to stare in fascination as long as you can see him on the screen. His films are lively and inspiring. He has also acted in mystery and thriller movies, but was not so successful. One of the great movies he has acted in does a hundred times of motivational speech. Here only the movies have been selected for the lead role. I started from the opposite side-

10. Sully (2016) (IMDB-7.5)

This movie is based on true events. An accident occurred after Captain Sally was flying in the sky with 155 passengers on board. A passenger plane was later landed on the Hudson River in the United States for the first time. This miracle affected Sally's career and life.

9. Larry Crowne (2011) (IMDB-6.1)

Larry suddenly quits his job. Single middle-aged Larry will not get a good job without a degree. So he was admitted to college again. There he meets a Scooty Bike group and Julia Roberts, frustrated with life. This self-directed movie by Tom Hanks makes the mind feel good. Especially if you watch the movie with someone special.

8. Angles and Demons (2009) (IMDB-6.7)

Symbolist Robert Langdon discovers an ancient Brotherhood Illuminati. They conspired to destroy the Roman Catholic Church. Langdon's journey begins to stop it. Filled with tension, this movie is just for thriller lovers.

7. The Da Vinci Code (2006) (IMDB- 6.6)

There is a lot of criticism about this movie. Many have said that the movie has only created tension but has not been able to address it. Based on Dan Brown's bestseller, the movie questions Christianity. This is a good option if you want to watch a thriller movie with all these in mind.

6. The Green Mile (1999) IMDB- 8.5)

Paul Ezcombe is in charge of a prison. Some strange things happened in that prison. The story of the mysterious movie is written by Steven King. Great plot, great cinematography. When a black man with a huge body comes to a prison cell, there is a stir in the movie. The story of the movie continues to amaze the audience moment by moment.

5. Road to Perdition (2002) (IMDB-7.7)

Mike Sullivan is a Mafia hitman. When his wife was killed, he fled with his child and took revenge on the child. This movie is ideal for those who like Mafia movie. The movie's plot has changed since Mike Sullivan's son found out his true form. Later, director Sam Mendes portrayed the father and son together in a dangerous time.

4. Saving Private Ryan (1998) (IMDB- 8.6)

This is one of the best war movies I've ever seen. Excellent framing, cinematography. Tom Hanks plays Captain John Miller. When three brothers of a soldier named Ryan died in battle, the US government intended to save Ryan anyway. Will private Ryan survive in the end? All the characters in the movie are strong enough. And director Steven Spielberg has shown one of the best works of his life through this movie.

3. Cast Away (2000) (IMDB- 7.8)

Chuck Noland, who worked at FedEx for a long time, crashed the plane and got stuck on an island. A regular man suddenly begins to live alone on an island. Lives year after year. How are his days? Will Chuck be able to reunite with his loved ones? See that story in this movie.

2. Forrest Gump (1994) (IMDB- 8.8)

Watching this movie will show how far willpower and perseverance can take people. Forrest, the main character of the movie, appeared with one surprise after another. From the beginning to the end, this movie fascinates the viewers with various sensational events. Although lame as a child, Forrest took himself to unique heights as a sportsman. Hanks has shown a hundred percent acting skills here by playing a simple character.

1. The Terminal (2004) (IMDB- 7.3)

Victor Novorsky came to America from a country in Eastern Europe. But war broke out in his country on the same day. In that case, the airport authorities would not allow him to set foot on American soil, nor would he be allowed to return to the country. He has to stay stuck in the airport terminal day after day. In this situation, he got acquainted with a flight attendant woman. An unequal love begins. Director Steven Spielberg has shown with enough humor how Victor, who does not know English, spends his days.

One to six movies are in the Great Category. These must be seen. The rest will depend on whether you have time. You can see all of them on holiday. Hopefully Tom Hanks doesn’t disappoint.
