Just checking, stocks, gold and bitcoin and everything is down.
Bitcoin has fallen apart, Dow is down almost 33% from just a few weeks ago. And gold is slightly off.
I have been watching this kind of thing most my life and i never seen anything like this before. All forms of money down? this is crazy and i struggle to figure out what it means. With bitcoin i did not see this coming, leading me to believe that bitcoins usefulness is way over estimated. The systems in place just do not allow enough common purchases to make it useful. Of course it could be that people are selling it because they are going to miss work and need those funds for basics. Stocks, well that i understand a bit more, future earnings will be bad for sometime to come with the exception of a very few select stocks. Gold should be going right through the roof, and it has not. It's slightly down this week and last. So i come back to what the hell is going on.
Is it maybe the rich using this as a leverage tool? Lets face it, they can hold out much longer then you can. In other words their needs will be met until the market, gold and bitcoin come down so far they can grab everything back up at a fraction of the price. While your money now, to pay for food and bills is going to dwindle away in value. If your locked in your house for the next 3-6 months you will have to pay rent, thus forcing you to sell your 401k, or retirement money just to get bye. Maybe that's not it at all, its very hard to say. I would love to hear from anybody whom has a theory, facts and/or any idea's on the topic at all.
Why do you think this has happened? Yes i understand the Covid-19 thing is causing it, but why all forms of money? Normally there is always one that skyrockets when the other lose on this kind of scale.
sorry, looks like i made the mistake of putting this in my warhammer group, not something i wanted to do of course, this communities feature is getting me to slip up a bit.
