CONTEST ENTRY ON: MAKE A TRADE WITH STEEM AS A SOURCE OF PAYMENT

In this contest, we have been tasked to make a post proofing the acceptance of steem in our business dealings.

This initiative is a nice way of promoting business through steemit as it makes the steemit blockchain more famous. I would therefore like to urge businessmen/ women on this platform to adopt steem as a payment medium.

Adopting steem as a payment option can help these businesses more especially the large scale ones as there would be no charges on the large amounts of money they transact in their dealings.

This is possible if they buy and sell in steem, as in the traditional method like bank transfers or mobile money, they are usually charged greatly when they use these services.

This charges normally takes a huge portion of their profits.So transacting with steem will even increase their capital gains.

Being a businessman on this massive blockchain, i have added steem to my payment methods and surprisingly it has yielded great results.

Since its inception in my business almost all payments for my goods have now been in steem.

As at writing this post, my latest transaction with steem was a payment recieved from @wonderbowysteem as payment for his hoodie and crocs slide. The amount paid was 31 steem.

The first payment i recieved was from @abu78 who is a very active member of this platform. He selected the shirt and we converted the price from GHC to steem equivalence which equalled 6 steem. The proof of the transaction below.

My second business transaction was with @humble1 who purchased a camouflaged trouser and paid 10.106 steem in GHC equivalent. Details of the transaction below

In conclusion, in less than a week i have accumulated about 47 steem from purchases of items from my store. This shows the potential steem has in promoting businesses. I would therefore delve more into how i can increase my sales by way steem payments to promote and grow my business as well as the steemit community as a whole.
