The Russian Defense Ministry announced that two Russian soldiers were injured as a Russian military police patrol was attacked by terrorist groups in the southern countryside of Idlib.

The Russian Coordination Center said in a statement that the Russian patrol came under fire from an anti-tank grenade launcher on the M4 road near the town of Urum al-Jawz in the southern part of the de-escalation zone in Idlib, causing two Russian soldiers to sustain mild concussions.

The center indicated that medical aid was provided to the injured immediately, the damaged military police armored vehicle was evacuated, and the patrol was suspended.

On July 14th, three Russian soldiers were injured as a result of targeting a joint patrol with an improvised explosive device planted by the terrorist groups affiliated to Turkey that are positioned on both sides of the road between Aleppo and Lattakia.
