Weights: 21st May 2020 + A Did You Know Question

Good Morning

I am back talking about yet another beautiful day. The day started quite early for me, but I did take it a bit easy and not push through the day like I usually do. Now that I am on the laptop, I thought that I would post my greetings. 😊

So, I am happy with my improving efficiency. I am on cloud nine. It is inevitable that the lockdown will soon come to an end, but the one glaring visible change in me is the kilograms that I have shed. I hope to keep the same momentum going even after the lockdown ends.

I am sure you will have your new learnings and thoughts about yourself. I hope it helps you become bigger and better.

So, yesterday evening I spent with my daughter exercising and playing Langdi for a trifle longer. I had to make up to her for not playing for two days in a row. It was fun. And here’s what we did yesterday evening:

  1. Warmup: 1 – 2 minutes
  2. Suicide-drill: 2 Sets
  3. Shuttle-run: 1 set with 4 reps
  4. Jumping-jacks
  5. Wall-sits
  6. Push-ups
  7. Crunches
  8. Step-ups
  9. Squats
  10. Tricep Dip
  11. Planks
  12. High Knees
  13. Lunges
  14. Push-ups and Rotation
  15. Side Planks – each side

By now all would be knowing that each exercise is about 30-seconds long with a 10-second break in between. So, that’s how our evening regime ended.

Today morning was back to abs, and I had mentioned that I had added two more exercises to my usual triplets. So, the pentuplets are:

  1. 1-set crunches
  2. 1-set reverse crunches
  3. 1-set weights for obliques (alternated with side planks)
  4. 1-set glutes
  5. 1-set lower back

I did a total of six pentuplets. In the end, I did add a three-minute focused obliques exercise with weights. It was a satisfying session. So, that’s it for today and tomorrow I plan to do shoulders and triceps. I will update that on tomorrow’s post.

Till tomorrow, namaste! 😊

And wish you all a lovely day!!

Did You Know?

I had posted earlier that George Hood of the U.S. holds the record for the abdominal planks. That record stands at 8 hours 15 minutes and 15 seconds.

Here is a video of the man in action and receiving the Guinness Record certificate.

Watch and have fun:

Feeling inspired? Trying doing a three-minute plank to start with and then take it as much as you can go! 😊

Yo, @isnochys, how's you, buddy? And why are you not on Hive?

Besides, I guess Beer does not work on Steem anymore. One more reason to come to Hive. :)
