Mother's Day love from Hive to her mother Steem ..and sibling Blurt

Yes I know many eyes will give a frowned look for talking about Steem and Blurt on Hive.

But today is Mother's Day. And let's never forget that we were born out of the Steem chain. So biologically speaking steem is our mother.

How can I ever forget STEEM as my first ever crypto possession? Steem was my first crypto earning about 3 years back. However, at that time, we couldn't address her as our mother!

But this year, after the fork from Steem, she gave birth to her baby Hive.

She is still an expecting mother with some more babies to be born. Of these, I am here looking for the 4th July fork. It's American Freedom Day. We can also say it to be the birthday of United States of America. Maybe, this is why this day has been chosen as the birth date for Blurt. I hear, its promoters are also Americans.

If Steem is our mother, then it follows that (yet unborn) Blurt is going to be our sibling.

So, why hate our mother & our sibling? Yes, Hive has evolved to be one of the best among these but that doesn't mean that we should hate these chains. We're a family afterall!

Everyone has got their own special abilities. Hive is a decentralized social power blockchain. Steem is a centralized chain under it's able & ambitious leadership of Justin Sun. But both of these chain failed to honour individual property rights. This is where our newest sibling is trying to step in. Let's see where it takes us to.

So whether you want it or not every Steemian as well as Hiver (even if they are powering down STEEM, most of them may not have finished their power down by then) are set to receive Blurt AirDrop to some extent. But airdrop or no airdrop, it hardly matters as Blurt is not at all expected to get a flying start like Hive.

Therefore, to do the least we can send some good wishes to both Steem and Blurt on this day.
