Assalamualaikum and good morning to everyone. Hope all of you are green as ever .
Today i would like to enlighten the badness of lordliness/overbearing pride/hubris. (takkabur in urdu).
Dear colleagues, Allah says in Holy Quran that don't do lordliness (takkabur). Soorah al nahal. Verse number 23.

If we have have a car and we feel that we are superior than those who have motorcycle and consider them low grade people as compared to us, this behavior is known as overbearing pride. It should be avoided because it has consequences beyond limits.
In the history, devil committed this mistake for the first time by saying that i am made of fire and fire goes upwards. Adam is made up of soil and it goes downwards. So I (devil) is superior than him (adam). Then what happened. He (devil) after doing prayers of 6 lacs or 30 lacs years has lost everything. He lost his respect and dignity in the eyes of all creatures due to his this behaviour.
So dear colleagues , we should avoid this behaviour. If we are doing lordliness it means we are following devil and we all know that what will be result of it in doomsday.
Lordliness/hubris behaviour is very destructive for society as well. It cuts off our relation from other members of society and family. Then that person may feel loneliness as he won't like to meet others by considering them low class people. He may increase his tensions and depressions. He stops visiting on sadness and happiness occassion. As a result he lose all his respect from the eyes of others (like devil). No ones considers him an important member of society and boycotts him in response to his behaviour.

Allah says that if anyone has overbearing pride even equal to a seed size, he will not go fo jannah. Question arises if he will not go to jannah, then where will he live after doomsday?? Answer is, in the hell.
If Almighty Allah has given us wealth, then we should raise our GIVINGS not our livings.
