PAPAYA FRUIT

Papaya is a soft fruit with a yellowish-orange color with various sizes depending on the type. The taste also depends on whether you eat ripe or unripe papaya. When ripe, papaya tastes sweet. Raw papaya, on the other hand, may have little or no taste.

It is believed that papaya is native to tropical America, with origins in Mexico and South America. This fruit was then brought to the Caribbean, and finally to Europe and the Pacific Islands before being introduced to Hawaii in 1800. Even so, papaya fruit is very often found in Indonesia and can be grown in Indonesia. Often papaya fruit can be found in fruit stalls or in supermarkets.
