Netflix show 'Squid Game' inspired cryptocurrency 'SQUID' plunged from its peak price of $2,861 to $0 in an apparent scam. Reports said the token's creators "rug pulled" SQUID holders by quickly cashing out their coins for real money, draining the liquidity pool from the exchange. The cryptocurrency's website disappeared, with SQUID's creators making off with $3.3 million (around ₹25 crore).
