Hasan 3 is a very famous food stall in Banda Aceh. Hasan 3 is a branch of Warung Hasan. Hasan 3 opened on Jalan Batoh, Banda Aceh, not far from the Type A Bus Terminal.

The dishes here are not far from typical Aceh Besar foods, such as beulangong sauce, reubong kala sauce, fried chicken, caught chicken, fried shrimp, pliek sauce, and others.

With the concept of an open shop, without walls, this shop is crowded every lunch time. Warung Hasan 3 is only open for lunch. Open from 11.00 WIB to 15.00 WIB.

On Thursday (16/9/2021) my family and I visited there. My wife has special memories with Hasan 3. Several years ago, she and her mother stopped there for lunch.

At that time, my late mother-in-law was sick and was being treated at RSUZA, Banda Aceh. He has cancer.
That lunch was their last time together in a public space. After that, the mother's health condition deteriorated.
Mother-in-law died two months after that lunch.

What my wife remembers the most is the sour shrimp dish, which is placed in a small bowl and is priced at IDR 5,000. Until now the price is still like that.

With our two wonderfully active children, we had lunch there. For starters, we enjoyed the delicious kampung fried chicken. We ordered two dishes. Each plate contains 7 pieces of chicken.

After enjoying the fried chicken, we started eating rice mixed with beulangong sauce. Wife and kids ordered jumbo fried prawns. One shrimp Rp. 22,000.

While eating, I enjoy the scenery around. The shop was built in the middle of a former rice field area. Don't ask how hot the sun is. Very hot. But because the shop was built without walls, the wind blows very freely.

The smell of chicken and shrimp being fried in the kitchen, wafted into the nose. The longer it takes, the more it will increase your appetite. Maybe it was intentional by the shop owner, so that the visitors' appetite was doubled.

The beulangong sauce here is made from goat meat. People say, the sauce has been mixed with marijuana. But I don't believe it. Acehnese cuisine has always been known to be rich in spices.

After finishing lunch, we paid. Wow! The wife had to spend IDR 250,000 for the dish we enjoyed. Although expensive, but we are very satisfied. The price and quality of the food is very balanced.

For me, Warung Hasan 3 is a cool place to eat. This shop is in demand by wealthy officials and businessmen. Every lunch time, they will gather here, enjoying the legendary Aceh specialties.

Drinking water here, ranging from coconut water, sweet and sour oranges, juice, cucumber, and so on.

The seats, in addition to providing tables and chairs, Hasan 3 also provides lesehan. Eat while relaxing with colleagues and friends.

Hasan 3's parking lot is not shady. Sunlight without a hitch hit the roof and walls of cars parked in open areas.
The parking attendant who lacks communication, is also something that always invites laughter. He stood at the end, while the car that came in from the main road, was a bit surprised when suddenly he received a whistle for the car to be moved to a place determined by the parking attendant.

When we came out of Hasan 3, the hour hand was already showing the numbers at 14.00 WIB. We went home happy.
