Onak & Lantana!

On this occasion, I would like to share two unique and beautiful plant species that caught my attention when I was among the low bushes on the side of the road looking for photography objects.

The two objects that are the target of photography this time are onak and Lantana who adorn the bushes with their charms.

The first object I want to introduce is onak, which in English means thorn. In short, said Onak because of its shape that resembles a thorn and there has been no specific research on this plant so it is rather difficult to explain scientifically.

However, the Indonesian Wikipedia says the name of this plant is Onak
, although there is no picture that is exactly the same as the one I photographed below, but it is definitely the same type.

The second type of beautiful plant is Lantana which I photographed at the same location and time as the plant above.

Lantana is one type of plant that is beautiful and attractive. But most people do not like this plant because the leaves or flowers emit an unpleasant odor when squeezed, our hands are sticky with an unpleasant odor.

Lantana is a flowering perennial that bears umbrella-shaped bunches of flowers. Umbrella inflorescences are clustered at the ends of branches and are very easy to grow and even become a nuisance in the tropics because they grow everywhere and are very difficult to destroy.
