When we first adopted Chase he was 1 year old. We adopted him from some friends of ours who already had another dog and Chase was being a typical dalmatian. He had too much energy and being wild in the house and this was troublesome for them at the time. Being at the last resort, Chase was almost taken to a local shelter, but we found out that he was available and decided to take on this new challenge.
When Chase was droppped off at our house and the previous owner left we found out real quickly that Chase had bad separation anxiety. He was running aroung the house looking for anyone that looked familiar and when he couldn't find them, he was not happy. So I decided to take him on a long walk to get rid on his nervous energy. Once he relized that I was the person that would take him exploring new places and gave him his food he bonded with me very quickly.
His second day with us it snowed and he had fun playing in it, but as you can see from the picture below he was still looking for a way to escape.
