Tener mugre en los dedos de los pies es una frase connotativa. Puede implicar haber recorrido muchos o apenas unos pocos kilómetros de distancia. No necesitas ser niño, adulto o anciano para padecer las penas que impone una sociedad mugrienta y sucia. En cualquier etapa de la vida se puede cargar con la roña. La vida en sí misma tiene el encargo de embarrarnos de mugre. Los sabios exhiben la mugre en sus pies con orgullo, puede que ellos hayan transitado y vencido caminos llenos de obstáculos. Aunque, no nos equivoquemos, no solo los pies muestran la mugre, puede también reflejarse en el alma.

Having dirt on your toes is a connotative phrase. It can imply having travelled many or just a few kilometres. You don't need to be a child, an adult or an old man to suffer the hardships of a filthy and dirty society. At any stage of life, you can carry the burden of scabies. Life itself has the task of muddying us with dirt. The wise display the dirt at their feet with pride; they may have walked and overcome roads full of obstacles. Although, make no mistake, it is not only the feet that show the dirt, it can also be reflected in the soul.

La Verdad | the truth

La mugre, es un término que define la inmundicia, el mal aspecto, lo cochino o mala higiene. Sin embargo, es un concepto acuñado a psicología para describir el aspecto turbio del ser. La mugre puede representar al ego, el yo exterior que refleja las intenciones o malas intenciones del hombre. Es bueno reconocer que estamos bañados en mugre pero que también podemos limpiarla porque errar, es de humanos.

Dirt is a term that defines filth, bad appearance, filthiness or bad hygiene. However, it is a concept coined by psychology to describe the cloudy aspect of being. Filth can represent the ego, the outer self that reflects man's intentions or bad intentions. It is good to recognize that we are bathed in filth but that we can also clean it up because to err is human.

La mugre que muestra el espíritu es muchas veces más pestilente que la mostrada en los pies.

The dirt that shows the spirit is many times more pestilential than the dirt shown on the feet.
