There are two little piglets in a muddy wallow. One in the mud, and the other soon to join. The first piglet in the mud, Squealer, is agitated by his brother's over-enthusiastic manner as he jumps in. Hammy, however, carries on with his mud bath, blind to his brother's worries. For Squealer, the mud bath is custom, but today it doesn't feel right. He tries to enjoy it but he can't. He wonders how Hammy can be so happy after what they had experienced not too long ago in the barn.
Hammy finally notices his brother's attitude and asks what's wrong.
Squealer squealed. "Uncle Percy was just carted away. He's about to be cooked! They feed us and give us good bath just to be chopped up later!"
Hammy snorted flippantly. "Well what can we do?! And either ways, why worry?"
"But..."
"There's so much fun to be had, Squealer." Hammy chucked his hooves at his brother and twirled his morose brother around. He threw a chunk of mud above them, hooting with excitement, dancing in the mud rain. "There's mud baths, mud rain, and everything. Be gay and happy while you can. I doubt there's mud baths anywhere else."
Squealer's muzzle relaxed into a smile. He shook his head at his brother's frivolities. He scooped up a hoof-full of mud and threw it in the air, as far as his little hooves could.
