I want to appreciate myself. Because it has done a good routine habit. I've been writing grateful journal for over three months! Yeay! Good job for me!
Because my thoughts tend to lead to negative things. I decided to try to change it. Of course this is not an easy thing. Moreover, the thought was ingrained and became a habit of mine.
Actually I've been aware of that for quite a while. My family's "wrong upbringing", or maybe "because I misjudged the situation" made my concentration more focused on negative things.
The effect, of course, is very bad. I became a very skeptic. It's easy to be suspicious. Also, it is very difficult to trust other people. There are even worse ones than that. But basically my view became negative and I couldn't develop for long enough.
Various events that I think are bad often happen. In fact, I used to hate myself a lot. This is really ridiculous isn't it? Problems will happen often and even I can be stressed if it continues like this.
But over time, as I learned some other things, both from the internet and from books, and other people's experiences. I found important things that can change myself for the better. Although the journey is also quite difficult.
I read a few things about habits and how to change them. I learned a few things about "how to learn". I also learned about stoicism and the benefits of a gratitude journal. Then I put it into practice. Little by little according to my ability.
Then in the end I felt the difference. My thoughts became more positive and I no longer hated myself. I started to make peace with myself. Accept my strengths and weaknesses.
I've done a great job! I thank myself. You have tried your best. You can change yourself according to your needs. Now, you are free from self-defeating viewpoints.
That is my story.

There is a huge difference between being skeptical, realistic or negative.
If it happens as you expected it's possible too you are intelligent, high sensible, an introvert and can tell (or feel).
Indeed this can be depressing or feel negative to others as well. Knowing what will happen takes joy away.
Still, you are who you are.
What might help is focusing on three great things that happened to you today (small is fine). Write them down and add why it made you feel happy.
