The insurance company does annual wellness health screening on zoom now instead of house calls. Today I had a zoom session with the nurse practitioner, a lovely young woman.
During the interview it came up that sometimes I have difficulty getting to sleep and staying asleep. I told her, "If I can't sleep on some night, I just stay awake and meditate and do my yoga."
She was happy to here that I was "doing yoga" and how it is a very good form of exercise.
I told her, "Not that kind of yoga. More internal work, Krishna yoga. You know, 'Hare Krishna.' You're from Gainesville. They're everywhere!"
She laughed, "Yes, I was a student at the University of Florida and they used to have a lunch on campus. I loved the lemony salad dressing. It was so good."
It's as simple as that. Ticket back home, lemony salad dressing. Hare Krishna.
