The Tragedy
I laid on the bed with my younger brother. We had been discussing all through the night, yet we still didn't feel any iota of sleep.
We laid on the bed chuckling at the slightest joke we cracked, be it funny of not. His voice was melodious to my ears, and as he giggled, I felt goosebumps all over me.
"I miss Mom!" He finally said abruptly.
"I miss Dad and everybody!" He added in sombre tears.
"I know you do." I responded.
"You know it's past one?" I asked suggestively.
"Yes, I do. Even the darkness or this morning moúrns with me!" He said grasping my hand softly.
He was just thirteen but he had deep bars of words hanging in the library of his brain. The once faded brotherly love was rekindled again.
"I want to ease myself!" I said as I shrugged down from the bed.
"I've got to go!" He said as he pickéd up his head from the corner of the room where he kept it.
For some months now, I've been seeing my brother's ghōst coming to see me.
He had been complaining of being búllied in school but my parents paid no attention until he was behéaded and delivered to our doorsteps one beguiling morning.
My mom passed out at the sight of his corpse, while my Dad and I froze as we screamed in horrór. I regret my parents ever sending him to a boarding house.
"I'd serve you justice brother!" I said amidst tears.
"There'd be no need for that. I need you all to be happy when I'm finally gone forever. I don't want you getting into any trouble!" He said as he filtered out of the room like rays of white lights clinging to his head!
