Hermosa momia/Beautiful mummy/

Me respondió:

-¿Tú me entendiste?

Fin

I went out to ask many people what they understood by the word "niche" in order to write my post and look at the different meanings they told me:

It's where they put the saints.

Ah, I said to myself, then I don't have any niche, because I don't have anything of a Saint, not even a name, since there is no Saint Sol, although there are many Sisters, hahaha.

But the matter didn't end there, I asked a lady about the meaning of the word "niche", and she looked at me with a "face of not understanding": Did you say niche?

I replied:

-Yes.

-Oh, okay. Well, that's when you say something you want to do, but you never actually do it. In fact, there's a phrase that says: "From the niche to the fact there's a long way to go."

When I tried to correct her to tell her that the phrase was: "From the saying to the doing there's a long way to go."

She replied:

-Did you understand me?

I said yes.

She replied:

-That's the most important thing, hahaha. It doesn't matter if it's a niche or a saying, hahaha.

The word "niche" in Venezuela is used with the first meaning that they gave me:

Concavity in the thickness of a wall, to place a statue, a vase or something else.

But, from some publications that I have read, the word can also mean: What makes us feel comfortable when writing. So I will say that I like to narrate, and as in the two publications that I read looking for lights; the one from @serdak and the one from @jiya99 they talked about life and death; I will write a story, with dark humor, that fascinates @wakeupkitty so much:

Beautiful mummy

Mary looked in the mirror and saw how she had aged, despite the plastic surgeries that had her in debt. Her 70 years were noticeable and she no longer knew what to do to retain her young 35-year-old husband.

Every morning she got up very early to get ready before her husband woke up at one in the afternoon, because the boy was a video game lover and stayed up all night playing.

One day the young husband woke up when his wife had not yet gotten ready, and he said to her with the innocence of a seven-year-old child:

-My love, you look like a beautiful mummy.

The wife felt offended, while he believed that he had said the most loving phrase of his life.

End

I would give myself 9 points for the comment to @serdak and 10 points for the comment to @jiya99. In the first one I limited myself to pointing out the topics addressed in the story written by the author. In the second one, I not only interpreted the text, but also asked its author questions, with the aim of seeking a dialogue.

A great entry , you gave me a good laugh and the woman is right you did understand her or (which is the most important)

If it comes to the horror.. that's no horror but a very cute story. You made me think if it's wise to dump he old guy and take the younger variant. I mean.. cute it is and I have an at least 10 years younger friend as the mentioned husband (he is a bit simple or?) LOL.

P.s. And if it comest to the grades it's noted!

The important thing is to understand each other, even if you speak Dutch and I speak Spanish, do we understand each other or not? Hahaha.

The story is not about horror, it's about love, hahaha. Or, can't mummies be loved? Hahaha. I think so, old mummies, and old mummies, too, hehe.
