Coffee

The first time I drank coffee I was 15 years old? Honestly, I am not sure and for the same money, I was 12 years old. At least a secondary school, there was a coffee machine that also made chocolate milk. I took chocolate milk and it cost 10 cents. Not a lot, but the cups were a lot smaller than today. The chocolate milk was delicious.
I drank black coffee for a while and in those days coffee was made with a filter on the coffee pot. The coffee machine came later and I also had one when I went to live in my room. Even a double machine. One side was for making coffee and the other side for making tea. Actually, neither was very good. Tea made from boiled water tastes a lot better and the quality of the water also plays an important role.
For years I have not bought coffee beans or ground coffee. The coffee from the Senseo was a big disappointment and so is the coffee the Krups machine makes. The Krups has been in the attic for years and eventually, I gave it to my child. Occasionally I buy the expensive cups, which are now also available in regular shops. They are expensive and the coffee? I have no idea if it is quality coffee but I find it strong and not really special tasting.
Usually, I have a pot of instant coffee at home. This coffee stays good for a long time and in a household where drinking coffee is not a habit, that is very convenient. I don't like to throw things away.
The instant coffee is good enough to brew strong for, for example, tiramisu or that single time someone wants coffee or a visitor would like a cup. The interesting thing is that coffee drinker like the coffee I serve. Warm whipped milk, whipped cream, some cacao, cinnamon or... can make even the cheapest coffee taste good. You just need to know-how.

That is exactly right!
Everything is manipulated anyway.
The coffee gets its flavor from the ingredients.
We also only take instant coffee and save a lot of money.

Never knew it's flavoured which is something I can do myself. Indeed it saves a lot of money. About 300-400 cups plus we never throw away instant coffee. I wonder how many cups are not finished, throw away, the leftovers. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the day/weekend.
