Short Film: This Is What Being a Mom Really Feels Like!

Does it remind you of your birth if I pull something over your head?

I bumped into this video, a short film, a realistic one for a change. This is how moms feels and the thing is many of them keep feeling this way. A kind of "food" or "energy" plant. Nonstop giving and the "no matter how you do it you are fine, I love you" is frequently questionable. "I love you" is because you, as a parent, is all a child knows and once children get into the world (pre-school, primary school, high school, you name it) the world is getting bigger and the parent is an old sucker good to fill the pocket, to show up if in need but in average it is "what the hell do you know? You don't know me at all!" Hormones?

How about you kid? Do you know your parents? Do you care how they feel? Yes, you are right, it wasn't you who was asked to be put in this lousy world and you can be nasty, angry, of course, there's no need to be grateful for what your mom did for you as long as you can show some respect and keep in mind that if you want to be left alone, your mom can have the same wish. Take care of your own laundry, cook your own meal, buy your own food, do the dishes and don't knock at the door if she's in bed, on the toilet, or taking a shower. She hates that!

That being said... give your mom a present she really likes for a change. An annual subscription won't do the trick, neither does a piece of soap, empty promises are not appreciated and no, that time she thought the centre of her world is her child passed a looooong time ago. Guess what? Mom has wishes, dreams, is not just a mom but someone's lover.

Bye child, time to pave your own path and take care of your future yourself.
