This is a 6-week course.

What we did in Lessons 1 - 4 you can find back in the links left at the bottom of this post.

Lesson 5 is about criticism.

Complaints, reviews, and comments are part of criticism. Growth and change can only be realised if we know the bottlenecks, which brings us back to where we started: awareness.

We advise those taking part in the SSEA-MINER Programme to join miner-wewrite (MWW) and learn how to be unique, to fun write, connect and grow. There is room for 3 motivated, supportive Steemians willing to power up!

Lesson 5 contains

  • Commenting
  • Freewriting

Task 1: Commenting

You read and give a well-considered critique of what you have read. You discuss the following aspects:

  • title,
  • text/grammar
  • use of hashtags
  • markdowns.
In addition, you let the writer know what can be improved and ask 1 question.

You Comment:

  • 6x in the community SEA
  • The rest of the comments are free choice

Note: We check all your comments through your account over 7+ days!

Task 2: Freewrite

Over the past few weeks, we've given you a variety of assignments that will help you work on your writing skills, promote yourself, and grow your account. Think about what best suits your niche/skills.

  • Use the daily prompts (see @freewritehouse)
    Write
  • about Steemit Witnesses
  • a fable (use animals) - hashtag: story
  • a poem or lyric (songtekst) - hashtag: poem
  • Post in SEA / Freewriters

Your other posts are free choice, and you can post in the community which best fits your niche/entry

Notes:

If you take part in the SSEA-MINER Programme, note that you should post at least 4 times per week.

Rating

We rate your post taking into aspect if you: did freewrite and set a timer, show creativity, show personal growth in writing, your comments/interaction with participants + other Steemians and the grade you gave yourself.

Note

  • If you go for a layout/use markdowns, or if not, tell us why
  • if you used pictures, explain your choice
  • Leave your best comment at the bottom of your post
  • mention the device you used to write (phone/computer?)

Prizes

We reward the participants willing to learn, edit, grow and those committed to the platform. What can you expect? For every lesson, we set new rewards, and at the end of the course, 50% of the delegated SP will be transferred to the best participants who followed all 6 lessons and the other 50% will be transferred if the winners are still active 3 months after this course ended.

For lesson 5, the rewards are:

  • 100% upvote/s for valid entries
  • SP: 20 - 15 - 10 - 5 - delegated
  • UVF: 20 - Tales & Stories

Commenting is better than criticizing. Whatever my fellow Steemians posts or I write myself, we try to write our best. If we get praise for it or are told how the post can be improved further, that would be even better. But if we gets criticism, it is human nature that our mind will get confused and we will not do our job well. I request that in the future, some modifications should be made in the article and more emphasis should be placed on asking questions and making comments instead of criticizing.
This is my point of view. Now it is up to you from which angle you view my point.

#wewrite #comment

Criticism is not negative. Thatis how you see it and if you would read how I started and ended you would know enough.

Now it is up you if you always feel attacked or can pick out what you can benefit from.

There is no doubt that criticism is not negative but it leaves a very bad impression on the mind. I have given you a small demo. Since this criticism was part of lesson 5, that is why I have also contributed a little to this criticism. I hope you don't mind.
I will definitely comment on another steemians post but I don't want to hurt his/her heart by criticizing. Do you understand what I want to say?
By criticizing this topic, I just wanted to make you understand that every person's nature is different, some will take this criticism negatively and some positively. That's why we should focus on comments and not hurt anyone's heart by criticizing. This is my point of view.
And I hope I'm following lesson 5 well.

Learn to speak for yourself. It doesn't leave a bad impression on my mind but hey, I'm in average ignored. Ever thought you might be valuable enough to invest time in? Don't make people think you are like the American drama queen. Straight forward is the only way. Focus on your goal if you have one.

Daily there are many impressions we have to take in and important is also learn how to handle critics, how to benefit from it and how to steal the show if it's only a click away. It's my believe that as an adult this is also something you should teach your child just like dealing with the hardships of life. It's not a bed of roses, no paradise, unfortunately.

You made your point clear and all I can say is that I give up. I don't like my time to be wasted if it's not helpful. A happy Sunday.

You made your point clear and all I can say is that I give up.

It is important for me to know whether you are saying all this in anger. My intention was not to hurt anyone's feelings at all. I have made my point of view very clear. Everyone has the right to say what they want to say. And I said what I objected to. Also, if the way I said it was wrong, I apologize for that.
#wewrite #comment

Why should I say something in anger if it comes to a learning process? There's no need to apologize and you shouldn't if you don't feel that way.
I once shared a video: Why the Dutch don't say sorry. It might be a good one for you to watch.
A happy week.

Five weeks have already passed. Time flies. The company is pleasant. The learning is the legacy you share. The vision is shared.
In these weeks I have learned how many writers write. Different styles. Many cultures surfacing. Ideologies, religions, ways of thinking. And in large part it's because of this program you push. So all credit (well deserved to you).
You have always been there from the beginning. Keep on lighting the way of letters. Few are interested in art. For the artists. Best wishes.

No, four passed we start with the 5th week and after that one is left and at that time you finished 50% of the SEA project or? Time flies indeed and you wrote and shared a lot. You are a great example of a writer and commenter and above all an active artist.

Thanks for joining us!

#wewrite #comment

Does it matter if you learn fast or slow? What counts is you learned it. You know I learn things from my children how to do ceetain things faster? Still, I like tge ols fashioed way where my brains are used to think and I son't care if it takes more time. I tell myself it is good to slow diwn and know what I am doing and how to do it.

Great you had help from @sumaeni123 😁

A happy Friday to both of you.

🤗♥️🍀

Semoga hari anda bahagia selalu temanku 🌹

You know I have times too that I have no clue what is meant. I go gardening or take care of the animals, do some house chorus. It can take two or three days to solve something or all of a sudden I think: OOOOOh is that meant by the word or task and your mom is right it never harms to ask. I was always told: that stupid questions do not exist (and teachers get paid to explain even it it has to be done thirty times we all have a brains working differently from others).

Also the more busy we are, the harder it will be to focus. You are doing very well and keep in mind what the idiom says: hardlopers zijn doodlopers (runners are dead ends) which reminds me of the fable: the hare and the turtoise.

#wewrite #comment

Ya anda benar sekali temanku saya mengakuinya, mengingat kelinci dan kura-kura, hanya satu yang pasti....biar lambat asal selamat 🤣🤣🤣

Oh, so we are already in week 5! I thought that would be tomorrow. I had no idea that it starts today..

Alright, so I have a question.. Are you expecting us to write a post about each of the below (total 5 posts this week):

Use the daily prompts (see @freewritehouse)
Write
about Steemit Witnesses
a fable (use animals) - hashtag: story
a poem or lyric (songtekst) - hashtag: poem
Post in SEA / Freewriters

#wewrite #comment

Youbare in SEA like @almaguer and @naina9 so it's a minimum of 4 for you.

I see only 3 posts at Task 2 🤔

Can be I make it two for me and use the prompts. A bit creativity and yiu can do it too.

In terms of task 2, I have shared the below with you earlier:

These should cover task 2 in full. One of them was in Steem SEA. On top of that, I have posted two other posts in SEA and I have exceeded the requirements in terms of comments. That was what is mentioned in the post.

I guess that should suffice as an entry to the contest.

Welcome everyone to lesson 5.

about Steemit Witnesses
a fable (use animals) - hashtag: story
a poem or lyric (songtekst) - hashtag: poem

I want to know about this. What is it?
In Task 2, we have to write on prompts, but I'm confused about these topics.

Also, I have a question about what is markdown. I don't know about it.
