My best friend

To me, he is the cutest boy around. I love his eyes and a naughty attitude. The boy feels most comfortable if we all stick to the rules. There's no need to schedule life but habits are important and make him feel secure.
Away and back home means a treat. In most cases, it's the fact but it's not always possible to buy what is liked most and healthy as well. Since the shops are out of it and a freezer isn't in it I bought some treats. Not as good as the bones, it's gone at the same moment it is caught but it is treats and treats are a sign of attention too.
I remember the day he came into my life. Not a baby anymore but we treated him that way. Wrapped in a blanket he sat on our laps in turn. Not always comfortable and far from relaxed but we had to build a bond, bonding in some way is important.
Today he is still my baby. It doesn't matter how big he became or how old. He is my baby, not as social as should be but the boy is good to me. He has humour and I can still tickle him and if I make that sign from a distance I see him smile and he immediately lies down. He cannot stop using his teeth, stop biting me but it's his way of showing affection, so we keep playing this game. Curled up, stretched, pacing up and down for joy or out of stress he's family and my best friend.
