An eyeopener to me was the Netflix series 'Manhunt Unabomber.
The new FBI profiler and the Unabomber (Theodore John Kaczynski) both are different, highly intelligent and in my opinion not understood and appreciated. I'm not going to mention the way the FBI operates and how they never got any wiser although, the years passed by. I will not repeat here how they treated the new profiler worse than a dog, how many mistakes the FBI made and how they took all credit for finding the Unabomber.
I do want to write about the manifest the Unabomber wrote. It's shocking how accurate it is today. I wonder how many see today exactly what Ted feared and wanted the people to be aware of what happens today. Since then it didn't become any better only worse.
I wish I had a small cabin and could live as he did. It's a pity he had no the to start living and it's a shame if not disgusting how he's been treated as a teenager, been used as a lab rat. I wonder why no one ever asked how he was doing. The curse of a person with a high IQ?
Ted's manifest might not be a novel, it might be it's too difficult for many to read but to me, it's not only shocking how valid it is but it's also a page-turner.

my folks have been going to france even with the covid passes and basically they have never seen any control at the border anywhere
