Stepping Off the Treadmill: Redefining my Life

I like to ask you why should you find that job? Why not something else? I don't think that job is meant for you and it's time to change. For sure you know what more you like to do.

What is it you like if there are no bills to pay?

Fair? Not fair to your partner? What does your partner say? Are making yourself useful as a house"wife"? We can be useful in many ways to lighten the burden/heavy tasks of the one who works. Women do this for ages and still support their partner so why not the other way round in 2024?

If you stop focussing on money, how to pay your bills, what is it you would do?

How about Brasil

Hey everyone!

As many of you know, I’ve been living off-grid in the middle of the Brazilian rainforest, completely self-sufficient. Over the last few months, I’ve been flooded with questions from hundreds of people asking about my lifestyle—how I make it work and whether there’s a chance to live nearby.

Well, I’ve been keeping an eye out, and an incredible opportunity has come up: 66 acres of pristine land, featuring a small hydropower dam, two lakes, and 24 plateaus with breathtaking views of the rainforest and beyond.

If there’s enough interest, I’m ready to turn this into a reality. This could be the perfect chance for like-minded people to join me in creating a sustainable, off-grid community. If this resonates with you, let’s make it happen!

The project presentation is attached for you to explore. :)

Cheers,
Simon

I do a lot of creative things, recently started background acting and will go to acting school from next month. I try out things, acting was always something I was interested in. Like I wrote, I got a lot of experience in my job, maybe I just need to find the right place, maybe Acting, Music or my other art projects turn out to be the big thing. One thing for sure in the meanwhile I have to pay my bills and provide for my family.

Yes I cook and share the responsibilities of the household with my partner.

Your Brazilian project sounds amazing, if I was all alone I’d join the adventure.

Why not join with the family? There's more than the wotld we try to survive in. Back to the badics, nature, creativity and don't worry there will be power and wifi just not as many bills.

Art is a good way to express. Go for it! There's no need to stick to one profession (I have 14) and the fact you are good at it doesn't mean that job is good for you.

If you don't know what you want list what you do not want!
