Unconscious Survival: How to Avoid Social Pitfalls

If it comes to it most of us write to think or ventilate. It helps me too and that's why I like to freewrite (especially if I feel stressed).

It's hard if not impossible to please everyone and to find excuses why or how or what. I no longer care and that's what I tell my children as well. For many years we tried to fit in and understand others but if it comes to it no one does the same with us.

We live in peace and are lucky that the entire family is the same and no one thinks we do something inappropriate (if that's the case and not meant you can also wonder what goes on in the mind of the one who thinks that, I mean what happened if you always believe that a tap on the shoulder is inappropriate? If you ask me that's what friends to and I see it like that.

Whatever kind of person you meet they all will have a history they drag around in a backpack. It's fine, they can be the ones they like to be but it doesn't mean that if something happens it's because of you. A good one also might be to ask (your friends) why according to them that tap is inappropriate. For many years it was a normal thing and we all appreciated it.

You are fine the way you are and it sounds to me just like introverts you tend to think too much. Don't do that. I did the same and while you have sleepless night and keep thinking the others moved on with their lives.

If people feel (easily) insulted it says way more about them than it does about you.

If it comes to "saying without thinking" I like it. My family and friends are the same and the positive side is that no one lies and you know what they say is true. No lies, no nonsense, straight forward. I know there are people who find it hard but if they know you better they will admit that if it comes to you, they know whatever you say or do is honest. To me that is something precious.

Take a break, do something nice for you, that's all that counts and don't forget to enjoy the art course.
