Anime Review -Ascendance of a Bookworm - Episode 07

Hi, were back to anime reviews again.

For episode 7, The possibility of Maine's fever as "The Devouring" has been a contemplation between Otto and Benno.
But the focus of episode seven is not about the discovery of it, but just the collection of symptoms.

Maine and Lutz were invited by Benno for the sealing of contract and acquisition of the recipe for the shampoo that Maine traded for nails with Otto. So as a businessman Benno wanted to acquire the recipe for the shampoo right away but as a form of collateral since the company will aide them in buying tools and raw materials for paper-making prototype to be presented before their baptism.Do take note that in dealing with transactions and contracts that you have to know the whereabouts of it.(It is some of the things that we took for granted specially if we are dealing with online things now, do be honest you don't read it anymore and just agree to it.I wanted to bring this up since business is business and other took advantage of it.Remember the controversy that facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg has to deal in the US Senate about the fact that facebook is using the private informations of facebook user's and selling it to companies without the user's consent.That right there is your right and a resource that will be used in marketing.)

Do read it before agreeing, consenting and signing any documentation.Also be informed that once a person forced you to sign a document.It can be considered as void.It is your right to read the contract and contemplate about your own decisions.Always look your side of the contract. Aside from your right, it is also your responsibility to be informed about these things.

But going back to the anime, from Maine's unusual prowess in business dealing, ability to calculate without calculator and all the other adult stuff. Lutz developed a budding suspicion that will be blurted out in their way home.Although I doubt if its just the suspicion of Maine not being Maine anymore. I think its an insecurity that he was not able to do the things that Maine can do.For me it is a loophole in the personality.If you think about it, If he didn't know about certain things.He could just directly asked Maine to teach him. Then it will be solved.Aside from that they already know that Maine is unusual and he has a direct contact with Maine which means he can learn directly from her.If he did that plus his own ability that Maine doesn't have- strength there is nothing to be jealous about but to learn.It is the ego that he was not like her or he was not able to do the things that she can do.

And Maine knows this so she tried to do the adult stuff when Lutz is not around but due to her weak body, the fever happened again and was not able to do any transactions without Lutz around.But as what my first sentence here, It makes Otto and Benno's suspiscion stronger.Will Maine die before or after her baptism, what will happen after that? Lets find it all together
