Turi's baptism happened and a lot of mother are fascinated by Turi's decorated piece on her hair though of course for Maine it was not that unusual.
Maine's father is funny.He's being too much.(This is the struggle that parents have to deal whenever their child has a school program or any event worth treasuring.)Its the decision between the responsibility to earn money and the responsibility to be there in important occasions.Kudos to all the OFW's.
Now that Turi has to do apprenticeship, she will be gone half of the week.So Maine has to do some of the house choirs like going to the forest.Their parent's gave Turi a sewing set for her apprenticeship and Maine a knife that she can use in the forest.Maine was delighted because she can use it for her next book-project which is the wood slips just like the scrolls from China.
I think Lutz is very keen about Miane because when Maine was alone and started to smoothen the wood slips, he was able to know that Maine is doing another alternative book project. He helped Maine in trade with Maine introducing him to Otto because Lutz wants to be a peddler where he can travel to other lands.
Tho I can feel Maine's frustration when her mother repeatedly burned her wood slips.I don't know If her mother did it purpose but just imagine making something and doing your best in making and someone will just burned it. Maybe if it happened just once but for several times,I might feel the same anger that Maine felt.For this Maine's mysterious fever comes to surface and was almost engulfing her.But due to her promise to Lutz, she was able to suppressed the fever down.
And so she went back to work and asked otto about Lutz request.
But the thing that strucked me the most is when she confessed to Otto that she's having a problem about her inability to make the thing that she want to do, and asked him what she can do about it. Otto adviced her that maybe she can ask someone to do it for her. As a entrepreneur who wanted to make products all at the same time.It has been a dilemma for me when it comes this matter and it was given an idea on how to solve my own problem by watching this anime.And I wanted to end this post with it.Sometimes the answer we are looking for will not come to us in the way we expected it to be.
